There's A Reason Steelhead Have Magnetic Qualities.

After your first one you just get pulled back again and again to catch more.

Catching a steelhead on light tackle is considered by many avid anglers as one of the most rewarding accomplishments and angler can achieve. With Fins, Feathers and Fur's Guide Service, you'll get the most opportunities.

We fish for winter steelhead on the finest small coastal streams in Oregon. Drift boats are our preferred mode of travel. We'll float as much as 15 miles of river, searching out the fresh waves of steelhead that arrive daily during the winter months. With light tackle you'll cast or backtroll into all the prime spots. Nothing is more exciting than the subtle take of a steelhead followed by screaming reels and acrobatic jumps. It's all about feeling the bite when you fish with us. I often have to remind guests to breathe as the reality of every cast could produce exploding tail dancing action of 20 pounds of pure chrome.

We've guided for over 20 years and during that time mastered the techniques that place Fins, Feathers and Furs above the rest. Double-digit days are common and limits of these fresh ocean beauties have become the norm.

Conditions can vary from day to day, river to river. Call me to book a date and rely on us to select the location with the best opportunity. If you have a personal favorite we'll gladly accommodate your desires.
